Part-time Family Law Administrator – 12 months FTC

The role:

We are looking for a Part-time Family Law Executive to provide cost-effective administrative and secretarial support to the Partners and other solicitors in the Family department. This is a 12 month maternity cover – Part-time 17.5 – 20 hours a week.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide efficient administrative and secretarial support to partners and fee earners in the Family department.
  • Manage new enquiries, diary coordination, correspondence, audio dictation and general file administration.
  • Assist with billing, invoices, client account matters, disbursements and cost update letters.
  • Prepare and file family court documentation, bundles, exhibits and documents via the HMCTS portal.
  • Support court preparation, including briefs to counsel, medical record requests and bundle updates.
  • Maintain excellent client care, confidentiality, compliance and professional communication at all times.
  • Build positive working relationships internally and externally and support team development and promotional activity where appropriate.

The role may also include other reasonable duties in line with the jobholder’s skills, abilities and status. Occasional travel to other offices may be required.
