Figures out last week show that unemployment has fallen to its lowest level for over six years, with only 5.8% of the UK adult population out of work – this figure being much lower in the Hertfordshire region at 1.5%.

So what does this mean for our candidates and clients?

For candidates this is great news as new vacancies are coming in at an unprecedented rate, which means skilled candidates have an abundance of choice when they decide to move jobs.

For clients, finding that perfect candidate is getting slightly more difficult as there is so much choice for jobseekers at the moment, so they need to ensure their vacancy is the one that stands out in the crowd.

Mission 4 Recruitment has been based in Hertford since 2003, so over that time we have managed to build up an enviable candidate database, having access to candidates that our newer competitors simply don’t have, which in turn gives our clients a greater choice of potential employees for their new vacancies.
